Sums up the whole thing pretty nicely.
I wouldn't advise watching the sequels - if you must enjoy them for the shiny effects, but at best they can be summed up as really, really stupid fun. It's actually got kind of an ambiguous uplifting ending but the whole thing ends kind of...meh. (I once spent a 22-hour flight across the Pacific watching Matrix Revolutions three times in a row and was heartily sick of it by the end. The alternative was Cheaper By The Dozen 2, though.)
