Dan Didio is basically just stupid, apparently. I have heard he once tried to kill off Dick Grayson. He is super out of tune with the comic fans, I sense. and YES YES YES to everything you said. ugh ugh ugh. And I'm Not Very Happy about Gail Simone right now because she's been talking about how Babs is The Real Batgirl and it's really sad and irritating and also there's that one tweet where she said how happy she was a female character had died and tagged it #womenwhodeserverefrigerators which is just. EW.
YEAH, OF COURSE IT DOES. BECAUSE SELENA WOULD GIVE UP HER KID TO THE LEAGUE OF ASSASSINS. lol no, she would kill anyone who tried to take them from her, I think. And I say this not knowing a great deal about Selina, but - yeah, I think that's probably a pretty accurate statement. Yeah, I'm upset about Powergirl too. I only saw her in her guest appearances in Birds of Prey, but I've been hoping to get into her and now I'm just like ".... well I can, but I'll have to do it knowing she's been possibly erased from continuity."
Blue Beetle's first 25 issues were ridiculously perfect, and the others were good too, and basically he is just full of joy and beauty and his backup cast is amaziiiiing and his mom and sister and dad are great and Paco and Brenda are wonderful and TRACI 13 HOLY CRAP.
DC IS BASICALLY RIGHT NOW THE SUCKIEST. I'm sulking and reading some Marvel. X-Factor, Runaways, Young Avengers. ALL OF WHICH HAVE FANTASTIC, AMAZING LADIES WHO ARE IMPORTANT IN MANY, VARIED WAYS. AND PEOPLE WHO DON'T FALL ON THE HETEROSEXUALITY SCALE. HEY DC, GUESS WHAT'S AWESOME? THAT. YOU SHOULD TRY IT SOMETIME.
I have not! because I'm actually taking a gap year in New Zealand, so I won't be attending classes there until Fall '12. :D
