ALLLL THE NARNIA FEELINGS. I just - asdlkghdlgkh THESE KIDS. They are always throwing themselves in danger for other people (especially Edmund, man, he is all about the reckless fighting and saving everyone else at the expense of himself, EDMUND YOUR I-WAS-A-TRAITOR COMPLEX IS SHOWING), always brave and intelligent and beautiful.
DID I MENTION BEAUTIFUL. oh my word this cast is ridiculously good looking, all the time. ALL THE TIME.
and also they have super obvious feeeeeelings about each other. EDMUND LOUNGES ON BALCONIES GOING "Caspian Caspian look at me DON'T YOU JUST WANT TO RAVISH ME" and Caspian is like "mope mope what if we fail our quest" and Edmund just wants to TEAR HIS HAIR OUT. "that is not IMPORTANT, Caspian. do you know what is important? making out with me. THAT IS IMPORTANT."
LOL WATCHING STARS TOGETHER HOW MANY FICS HAVE I WRITTEN WHERE PEOPLE IN LOVE WATCH STARS TOGETHER, SERIOUSLY. POINTING OUT STRANGE CONSTELLATIONS. ALL THE FICS, WYRM, ALL THE FICS.

ALL THE SADFACES IN THE WOOOOORLD, they just want to be happy together and I really want to know what Caspian's face was like when Edmund said they needed to go home. tears, TEARS.
LUCIAN, OMG. I feel like Narnia is this magical place where you can love anyone, or everyone, and it's okay. everyone's okay with that. So Lucy loves Liliandil, and Caspian, and the Sea Girl, and her brother, and everyone. Lucy's gift, the gift of love given freely, with grace and dignity.
also can I just say Edmund in that scene where all the other gifts from Saint Nick are there, and he's just very quiet and subdued and ... Aware. :((((((((
oh Lucy, OH LUCY. I feel like England is the worst for her. because she grows up to be immensely beautiful (and, uh, already is), but not the sort of beauty that England wants. She is beautiful freely and wildly and joyfully, and they find it rather offputting there. And Susan is beautiful in all the ways England wants. and it is damaging for Lucy's self-confidence, because she was a queen and loved and she knew her own worth and now here she is not even considered beautiful. Lucyyyyyyy. THESE KIDS THESE KIDS.

(edmuuuuund. I did like how they kept the torch though! My head canon is that the Telmarine-Narnian myths are super confused and have Ed getting a torch with the rest of them.)
She laughs too long and too loud, she's too merry, too happy, too full of sunshine. Susan folds herself up into being British but Lucy can't quite manage it.
