I forgot how much I love summer. As much as I love school not having it hanging over my head is a great feeling.
Things have been really great lately. I hit my five year mark at work. It is so crazy to hear myself say that I have been there 5 years. Thats almost a 1/4 of my life!
Gary and I had a great vacation. Siesta Key was beautiful and relaxing. We've been able to spend a lot more time together lately which is nice. It's amazing how little you can see someone even when you live under the same roof.
I played at co-ed hockey last night. I skated out to get some conditioning in for playing net with the women's travel team. I forgot how hot it is under 35lbs of goalie equipment and figured the extra skating would be a nice help. I had an absolute blast and can't wait to play again. That hockey blood is running through me again. It was way to long without it. Gary came to watch and now he want's to play too. We are going to try to get him equipment tomorrow and then go skating.
Gary is standing at the door shoveling cookies down his throat...I guess that means I'm suppose to go to bed.
