So I am pissed and need to vent. My nice 1500 dollar macbook is a peice of shit!
A couple weeks ago the top case in the left corner starts lifting and seperating. I bring it in for repair. They deny me and said I dropped it, that there manufactoring couldnt cause that. I pointed out that there is tons of reports online of people with the same problem. They said I was crazy...apparently they don't read their own website. I'm sure glad I paid an extra 200 bucks for that extended warranty...much good it did me there. I wish I would have been present when I dropped it. Maybe it would have justified that.
Random blue spots start appearing and disappearing on my top case and outside cover.
Two days ago my superdrive starts spitting out anything I put in it....including the mac osx install dvd.
Today I open it up and the top case around and including the trackpad and around the isight are discolored, a nice blacking grey tone to a white case.
Now I have to fight for an "genius bar" appointment and drive my ass back down to Tampa...again.
The fucked up part...I'd still never buy another windows based pc.
