Car 0 Pot Hole 1
Theres alot on the news at the moment about the state of the roads, especially after 'the big freeze'. The number of pot holes around my area is crazy, sometimes you have to venture on to the wrong side of the road to avoid them.
I was just listening about it on our local radio station while i was driving home from work. Then as i was driving down the darkest foggiest windiest country road of my journey home BOOM. I hit the worlds biggest (probably not) pot hole. Scared the bejesus out of me.
I managed to get to Jess' house (about half a mile from the crater) just as my steering decided to say 'Ummm no thank you i think i'll stop working now'.
When i got out to inspect it my front tyre was all smooshed. Stupid pot hole.
My dad and Gary (Jess' owner) had to put my spare tyre on for me :-(
Bad times. Will have to take it to the garage tomorrow and likely get a new tyre.
