Changi airport in Singapore has the most lax security i've ever encountered. I'm already at my gate and my bags have yet to be asked about/screened/searched. I ALWAYS get pulled aside at airports and searched, i must look dodgy or something. I guess they'll screen right before i get on the plane...?
Also, in keeping with the ridiculously trusting theme; i went in to the 7-11 a few minutes ago (i was the only customer) and the only evident staff member looked at me and walked out! Leaving me completely alone and unsupervised in the shop. Were i anything less than a totally upstanding citizen i would have taken my tiny individual Nutella snack packs and i would have run!
Ugh i have that 'just about to fly; sure hope i don't die' feeling in my stomach. Seven and a half to Dubai then 6 and a half to Manchester. Thats alot of scope for engine failure.
