ATTF: Friendships
So friendships. Relationships don't exist in a vaccuum, as I always remind myself when writing fic for said relationships, and there's a lot to be said for how our favorite assassins might handle their friendships.
In canon, Melinda has Natasha programmed in her phone, Maria promises Ward to tell Natasha what he said when she talks to her next, and Natasha cries when she thinks Fury is dead. (Is it just me, or does she get more on-screen friendship nods than Clint and is that significant?) Plus, of course, there's the whole 'I gotta find Steve a date' thing because they're obviously friends.
So what do you think? Do they have a circle of friends they share, friends who know their secrets, friends who don't, friends of one that the other can't stand? Share your headcanon, fic, and meta in the comments below!
