And yet she loved him, and he loved her, and something in that allowed her to understand the push-pull of Thor and Loki, the ways in which Bruce and Steve could be good friends, and time she'd gotten a little tipsy with Maria Hill and had that chat about what Fury had "under his eyepatch" hadn't even been surprising.
You have somehow found a way to include, like, almost all of my favorite relationships in this fic, even if they're just passing mentions, and you've done it seamlessly. This is just my ideal fic, okay, I'm just so thrilled.
But past that, Natasha was quieter, her humor a little more reserved, her gestures of friendship less overt. And that had thrown Pepper for a really, really long time.
I love this. I love that you get that Clint and Natasha--at least the way I read them--are introverts at heart, but very adaptable ones. I am just such a fan of this story, wow.
"I will always like sushi. And driving fast cars. Those things were true."
Perfect. And PEPPER AND NATASHA ARE FRIENDS, I'M REJOICING. THIS IS ME REJOICING.
When he got his arm back, he would leave this place, go out in the world and find a new warmth. (He would have preferred to stay, to have Natashenka at his side. But she loved the archer, and that was her right.)
OH MY GOD, YOU BROUGHT IN BUCKY. AND ANGST. AND BUCKY. I'm just. Can I propose marriage now? Is that an inappropriate or disproportionate response? I think not.
This was so, so beautifully written (I quoted bits more for their content than style, but I loved that too!), and perfectly characterized. Thank you so much again for this lovely gift! <333

I'm so, so very pleased that you enjoyed this, because I had a kicking good time writing it (when I wasn't whining about it being ~~haaard~~) and it gave me a lot to play with.
I'm so chuffed you loved Thor, because he's the hardest voice for me to grab, but I love smart!Thor and I don't get where the fanon of him being brick-brained comes from.
Also, consider Bucky a Christmas bonus - I thought about that prompt a lot, but since I'm already writing something in that vein, I felt like it would be a little bit of cheating.
Anyway, I hope your holiday was happy, and I'm so overjoyed that you liked this!

So basically, thank you again, so, so much, for writing this for me, and for being such a fantastic writer in general.

And, true story: I stalked your journal to see if you'd said anything after this posted (and you DID!) and saw the Annie/Troy/Abed request and I was like "...if she doesn't find it before reveals I WILL POINT HER AT IT THEN!" They're a fun trio to write, I think there might be more for them and me in the future. Someday. Maybe October 19?
Thank you for all the kind words. :)
