Being Human (US) fic: One Shot (PG, Gen, interlude episode 1x08)

Summary: In the minutes before he transforms, Josh asks Aidan to do the unthinkable.
Author’s note: Not exactly a missing scene, more of an interlude to episode 1x08 (Children Shouldn't Play with Undead Things). I wanted to explore Aidan’s past with regard to werewolves (based on a few interviews), the lengths Josh would go to to avoid biting someone, and Sally’s realizations about them both. Dialogue isn’t verbatim from the ep, but it’s close.
( Josh bursts into the room, rush of crisp night air and dead leaves on his heels. He’s breathing hard, unzipping his hoodie with one hand and stashing his pack with the other, all while yelling something about saving the television. )
