So here we are...
Yeah so I havn't posted in forever...seriously. But I've been busy with work, the end of school and the end of softball so I havn't had alot of time to just sit here and post. But here's one for the interested.
So my softball season is over...I've finally retired from the sport that got me through high school. It was a great season and the only way I wanted to go out...out with a bang. We made it to tournament after an 11 year drought and played like wildcats...haha..okay anyway...we found ourselves in the 7th inning with 1 out and down by 2 runs...it finally stopped pouring and it was our last chance to get some runs. Well wouldn't you know we fucking did it. Single, double and I step up to the plate...pass ball scores one run and now I'm freaking out cause all I want is a hit to score the next one and force extra innings. Bang...single into centerfield...Love it!! The time I need a hit I finally come through. Anyway we lost in 9 innings but we fought so I'm fine with it now.
Work is pretty cool...I got a job at Campanelli staduim for the Brockton Rox baseball team and it's a job I can actually have fun at...good stuff.
I watched the college softball world series...I was cheering for Texas first and they got knocked out...then came Texas A&M with crazy pitcher/1st Megan Gibson...they got knocked out...so it was up to my last fav team Arizona which I was going to go to school there...anyway they won so I was happy...friggen Taryne Mowatt and Caitlin Lowe...take that Abbott!!
And well school...IT'S SO DONE!! Graduation was yesterday and although it was inside I still fucking graduated so whatevs. It was alright...but I actually just was waiting to get it over with so that I could go home and party with the fam and friends. Laurie and Casey came home weeks ago so they came and then the family and other people. It was fun and stuff...and now it feels a bit different knowing that next year won't be a familiar place anymore.
Well I hope everyone has a great summer...and hopefully I see some of you before we all leave. THE STALKER IS COMING BACK!!!
