Not Quite A Legacy: Chapter 4

Jun 18, 2009 03:35

Bonjour, sim lovers
and lost folk who've wondered upon my legacy! My writing is going to be a little different because that's just the way the story has led me. I hope you like it.

As much as I hate to do it, we're going to skip to Colby's birthday. So, Colby invited his two best friends, Diane and Orlando to his party. Honestly, I'm sure they would have showed up anyway.

I couldn't get Colby to stop dancing to come to the cake so he grew up in front of his stereo.

I was actually speechless when he grew up. How did he go from duck boy to…

I chose the techno twins to grow up with Colby.
They were…

less impressive.

Then I did something dreadfully stupid.

It seemed like a perfectly reasonable thing to do at the time...
I think I'm done with arranged sim marriages.

The next day, summer decided to show up and melt all the snow. My Simself decided to enjoy the nice weather and take a walk (something I would never do in real life).

Colby was outside fishing, as that was his and Craig's favorite thing to do. I sent him to greet me.
We hung out for hours then we went fishing.

I figured it was time to leave when it got dark.
As SimMe walked away, Colby realized there was something very important he had to do.

Meanwhile a plan had been forming in my head the whole afternoon. I had made up my mind to follow through with it by the time I made it to the corner. As soon as I'd rounded the corner I broke into a run. I needed to get an order in as soon as possible.

~***********************************************************************************~

Colby stood wringing his hands. He didn't want to do what he was about to do, but he felt guiltier every second he didn't. He'd never done this before, but as a knowledge sim he was curious.
"If you made the right choice you'll never have to do it again." He reminded himself
His worries disappeared when his mother who had been quietly playing chess cried out.

"KOMEI!!!"

He soon had a new sister, Kimberly.

As he was congratulating his parents, the doorbell rang.
Colby took a deep breath, squared his shoulders and walked to the front door.

"You've made your decision," He reminded himself, " Now you have to face the consequences."

So there's chapter 4. Sorry for the lack of photos in some places. Tell me what you think of the writing style at the end.

"Hey, Craig! I got a tree too! WOO!!"

Happy Simming!
