What a Difference A Day Makes

Dec 15, 2006 05:25

Life never ceases to amaze me. When I posted my last entry, I was truly at one of my lowest points ever, having just come from a fruitless day of auditions and discovering that certain prospects of mine were no longer an option. I just started thinking about how long it had been since anything had really gone right with my life and I just sunk. Crying was the only option and it was one of those days where you just wanted to jump out the window.

Cut to 3:30 the next day where I'm auditioning for "Henry and Mudge" for Theatreworks USA. You must understand first, that I have been seen by this company about a dozen times over the past 2.5 years and have never gotten a job with them. Needless to say, I had stopped expecting anything to happen.

Cut to 4:30 the same day....They offer me the title role of Mudge........and my equity card.

BUT SUDDENLY, LOUD AS A MORTAR, THERE IS HOPE. FINALLY HOPE!
