Fortune Cookie
Ok, I am not saying for one moment that I believe what it says in fortune cookies, but today something happened that was just too delightfully eerie.
I had a day full of absolutely nothing. I did not leave my apartment except to get some lunch. I also had one of my sad, contemplative days where I think if I'm doing the right thing for my career and how I wish I could be better looking so that it would be easier to find a boyfriend and how I'm so young, but I feel so old, yada yada yada, I was in a funk.
So then this evening, I ordered some Chinese food for dinner. Not great, but not bad. Found a good soup. Then, I opened my fortune cookie and attempted to take out my fortune, but for some reason it wouldn't budge. Not wanting to rip it, I broke the cookie apart more until I could get it out. I then realized that the difficulty lay in the fact that there was not one, but three fortunes in the cookie. This is what the three fortunes said in the order in which I read them...

Let everyone listen to your great singing
If that isn't a sign from God, I don't know what is. (Even if it's from one of those Chinese Gods that I don't know anything about) So I get to end the day on a much more positive note.
