Capitol Punishment - I know there were murmurs that Capitol Punishment might be held on July 4th but we've since scheduled its return performance for Columbus Day Weekend. So stay tuned, for October will once again host one of the area's most extravagant fetish balls to offer an evening of grand style. And in case you didn't make it to last year's affair, here's a taste for what you missed:
http://capitolpunishment.net/parties/Inaugural_Ball2008/index.html Midnight - Saturday night's longest running Goth night is currently in the process of moving. That's right, Club Midnight recently held its last event at The Meeting Place. However, to dispel any misguided rumors, please note that as a venue they are NOT closing! Scott & his crew will take Saturday, July 4th off & will be hosting Nachtmar live at DC9 on the 23rd. In the meantime they're scouting for a new & better location, then they'll settle in for a continued tradition of great music. So stay tuned!
La Tache - Old Town's newest addition is making waves & people are taking notice. With a full selection of lingerie, adult toys, fetish gear, & an impressive array of DVD's (all in the heart of historic Alexandria), one gets the impression that times are changing & tolerance is finally catching on. Located at 210 King Street or available online.
Night Dreams of Bethesda will soon be moving to Rockville (11550 Rockville Pike, Rockville, Md.). However, we're not sure exactly 'when' this will take place. So please check our website or call their store for further updates.
Scheduled Shirts - In case you haven't heard, this year Goth Prom saw the launch of a new business. Tony (Co-founder of Alchemy) has launched a new company doing specialty prints for a wide array of various interests. From mainstream to corporate, personal interest or those in the scene - you can customize any print to your own desire. Check it out:

Closing Night for Artomatic - DC's largest exhibit of independent artists will be closing on Sunday, July 5th w/ a fantastic line up to celebrate its final weekend. First, at 12:30pm, a special presentation by Eidolon Career Solutions: Career Management for Artists. And of course, The Dark Electric Showcase kicks off from 7-10:30pm. Featuring live performances by Red This Ever, Morgueasm, & Cassandra Syndrom. Belly Dance by Shaell Jones, Music & Sound provided by DJ's Panic & Cosmo. Artomatic is located at 55 M St. SE DC.
Also on the 5th, F.I.S.T. will be hosting their annual pool party!
VNV Nation comes to 9:30 Club on Tuesday, the 21st - by far one of the scene's best alternative bands. After-Party will take place immediately following the show at TOWN (just 2 blocks from 9:30 Club). Maybe stop by the DC TNG happy hour before the show? It’s a great way to start an awesome night out.
Nachtmahr will be hosted live w/ Alter der Ruine at DC9 the following Thursday (23rd) by the promoters of Midnight.
Sat 25th - B.E.S.S. hosts its social play party & a birthday celebration.
- Club Femme is hosted by Mistress Fawn in Glen Burnie.
