It all hits home now
Yesterday at work i was told 6 people were let go from our sister company. I had just spoken to a few of them that very morning. None of them knew it was coming. Unfortunately because i work in finance i knew how dire their situation was. I just wasn't privy to the lay offs. Three others were let go earlier over the last week here. I'm going to miss them a lot around here, they were really nice and just plain good people. I asked about our situation back here in my department and was told not to worry. Ya-rite, With only two months of operating cash on the books i find that a little hard to believe.
