Squire Announcement
On Saturday, July 10th, the Feast Day of St. Alexander, I shall take Lord Balin d’Acier
as esquire at King’s Assessment in the Barony of Black Diamond. At that time my
former squire Sir William Thomas shall also take Lord Gerhard der Rote von Ulm into his service.
Assessment marks the sixth anniversary of my dubbing as well asthe second of Sir William so it is a fitting site to conduct these oaths of
fealty.
The ceremony will take place around dark near Sir William and I’s encampments. All are welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be served and afterward we will celebrate the growth of our houses and sing the old songs as is tradition.
