Squire-Russling can also look like this, when a cheesy-assed knight tries to seduce your squire over to the dark side, perhaps with chocolate and dancing girls:

In my case I was recently accused (Ok this has happened once or twice) of trying to 'gleen talent' from another group when in fact all I was trying to do was encourage this dude, who was coming to my practice because he couldn't get what he needed from his home group. Like attracts like. I wasn't trying to get him to squire to me, I don't even know him that well, I was just trying to help him learn to fight. Anyway.... ;-) People are odd, that's all.

I *love* the image though and will be sharing it tomorrow at Lilies war. V. cute. I thought it would be like luring squires with the promise of spiffy surcoats..which is nice, but I know who will end up having to sew them, so I should get to pick the squires, eh?
Heading off to Lilies soon, maybe I can steal the very best there! LOL

I will say though that the crafty knight in that picture is orginially from Calontir and will be at Lilies so take from that what you will...

As a seller and buyer of fine quality gently used squires I can tell you that Russelling is common through out the knowne world even in mighty Calontir, of which I have some knowledge. :-)
