Impossible
It's impossible to describe or explain a weekend like this one. It was pivotal in my life, that's about all I can say right now. Things went as close to perfect as we could have wished and the amount of support we recieved was amazing and humbling.
I can guarentee you one thing though, I will fight like hell to make sure that Investiture NEVER happens at Sapphire Joust again. That is just unfair to the new Baronage. Woof. My days were about 12 hours long of running around. Then I relaxed in camp in my normal fashion, slept for about 2-3 hours and started again.
I appricate my friends like Balynar that much more, and espically I appricate and feel a certain closeness with my Knight right now....
In other news my student, squire and friend William is to be knighted at Assessment Battles. I could not be happier right now.
So here is my schedule:
This week: Billing at Work, which is behind, of course.
Planning my parent's 50th Wedding Anniversary, which is THIS WEEKEND! ACK!
Unload the trailor and truck from SJ and helping with the barony stuff.
The following week is my (minor) surgery which will put me down for four days, and out of fighting until the end of June.
Then I get a whole weekend off to finish up planning for William's knighting, and then Assessment. Then I'm three weeks from this little thing called....Pennsic!
Sleep is for the weak.
