So. An actual new poem. Been a while since I wrote more than one in the space of a month.
Quiet Moments
Slip your hand into mine
Twine our fingers together
Pull me closer and smile
That special smile that's just for me
Smile against my mouth
As we kiss
And rest your hands on my back
Relax against my body
And hold my arms around you
Like a blanket
Close your eyes
And whisper my name in silence
I'll hear it
There will be a Poetry Project... of DOOM update as soon as I get past the really horrible stuff I'm copying right now. This was my "I suck at 90mph" phase, I think.
