EEE!!! Spoiled myself!
Well, today was my best friends b-day, so he treated me to Netopia (the largest internet café in the Philippines). This gave me the chance to watch some Battle B-Daman in YouTube. And you know what I saw? The opening song and ending song of the 2nd season! Wahey. It was so cool... Too bad we have to wait to get it dubbed

Season 2 is about a new Winner's Tournament with a whole new set of rules and stuff. To prepare for it, Yamato's gang splits to train alone. Liena leaves Gray, saying that she wants to become a strong B-daplayer and be able to challenge him. Yamato runs into this guy raised by a Stone Age type tribe, named Gannos. Gannos thinks he's better than Yamato and they become rivals. Bull runs into Acuras, the last survivor of a clan that was attacked for knowing the secrets of a special B-daman move. Acuras, the guy with white hair in the opening, is the angst magnet of this season. He has a talking wolf companion, Shin. Tsubame/Terry runs into Joe/Jou and asks Jou to train him. Gray goes solo, but from the screenshots I've seen, he hangs out a bit with Enju. Enju's doing the solo thing too.
Once the tournament starts up, it's noticeably different affair. People pair up or team up, people get dropped off, and so on. Liena accrued a few fanboys, Enju apparently adopted a kid named Kia (who looks mysteriously like Enju's and Liena's son from the future, but he isn't to my knowledge), Bull and Acuras become close, Tsubame developes a desire to defeat Jou, Armada takes a promising new B-damechanic under his wing named Bears (another member of the Liena fanclub), Gray's still doing the solo thing, and Gannos and Yamato are still rivals.
Now we get to the part I haven't actually watched, but read from various summaries. The Tournament is manipulated by someone known only as The Master (who looks mysteriously like Cain's father), for the purpose of capturing Acuras and learning his secrets. I think he's responsible for the burning of Acuras's village, but I can't be sure until I actually see it. The rest is unknown, but I did see a sheet of screenshots where Liena cries for someone and goes into magical girl mode.
