Just got home from Stuart's. Julia, you were excellent in the play. I'm glad I went. Me Ellen and Stuart went to La Cruda before seeing Much Ado About Nothing. We contemplated Dine and Dash. We met up with Madeline at the play. Then while at the play, I saw Elliot and Grant from school, Mia and Maddie and Rachel from Sellwood, then Lauren, Leah, Michael, Ben, and Sarah from ballet. Drew, you did good too! I liked your suit. After the play, me Madeline and Ellen all went to Stuart's, but first we had to listen to Pat Benatar in the car. Seeexxxxxyyyyyyyy. Once at Stuart's, we ate cookies, drank coke, and ate lots of chips. Then we argued about what movie to watch. Kill Bill? No. Resevoir Dogs? No. Spy Game? No. Harry Potter? No. Friends? YES! We watched season 6, the episode where Ross and Rachel get married, and then the episode where Monica is fat again, Rachel is married, Phoebe has a heart attack, Joey is an actor on Days of Our Lives, Chandler is a writer, and Ross doesn't know that his wife is a lesbian. It was awesome! Then Madeline had to leave :-( so we watched VH1, and Driven: Avril Lavigne. I've decided that Avril has no natural vocal talents. Ellen and Stuart concur. Ellen's NERD voice cracks me up.
Kari: I have some good jokes.
Ellen: Oh God
Kari: The jokes are good. I heard them on the radio today.
Ellen (In NERD voice): Oh jokes?? Are the jokes good Mom?
Kari looks offended and hurt.
Ellen: Fine, Mom, tell us the jokes
Kari: Why did the police pull Janet Jackson over?
Ellen: Tell us, why?
Kari: Because her left headlight was out!
Betsy and Stuart laugh politely. Kari continues on with jokes, Ellen continues on with NERD voice. Betsy almost pees pants.
Kari: What's the difference between Michael Jackson and a grocery bag?
Betsy/Ellen/Stuart: What?
Kari: One is white, plastic and you don't want your children to play with it. The other holds groceries.
Ellen (In NERD voice, can't contain herself): Wow, that was greaaat!
Kari: I have another one
Ellen: Do tell!
Kari: What kind of coffee did they serve on the Titanic?
(Silence)
Kari: Sanka!
(Silence)
Too many laughs tonight. The highlight was the old man coughing during the play. I was crying.
Betsy
P.S. No more stars, just for Drew!
