I laughed when i was told that a friend of mine freaked out when she found out that she had a skeleton when she was little, even though she was little at the time. But the more i thought about that, the more i realized that it really is weird to know that your body is composed of different tissues and bone matter. I mean, what you think with, feel with, dream with, everything, is just different synapses firing. Look at your hand. It moves, it "feels"; there's blood that flows through it; your fingers contain bones and joints and tendons and nerves. Its hard to comprehend really. And the ideal of thought, is really kind of scary too. Our brain comprehends and feels, in response to other things, but, when we really FEEL something, is it simply the brain reacting to a certain flow of chemicals and emotions, and a bit of instinct in the back of it all, or does something deeper cause it as well. I vote for the soul. I hope for the soul. I believe that we have a soul, however, i do see the arguement that its all just chemicals quite well, and, as interesting as it is, it shakes me to think about. I have bone in my arm, in my body, in my head, and they help me move...
