"New neighbor." More on this later.

CHRISTMAS BREAK, HOW I MISS YOU~!!! Oh, it was SOOOOOOOOO relaxing and destressifying... I wish it had never ended... Sadly I no longer have time turning powers so I can't fix that. :( It was still fun though. :) I got a bunch of cool stuff, including a new iPod, RAOB and Digital Atmosphere, several games for my DS, and several penguin-themed items: a box, a ninja-guin, a Fleury shirt, a Fleury poster, a Stanley Cup Champs puck and a Penguins purse. I love the Penguins stuff - I've been using the purse a lot and I'm planning on taking it to Atlanta with me. I can't figure out where I want to put the poster thing: the door or inside on a wall somewhere? I kinda want to display it outside the room but I don't want Penguin haters marking it up. Knowing my luck there'd be one in the building and they'd be a real buttface. *grrrr* Meh, I'll figure it out.

Anyway, I wanted to get some work on my story done while I was home. ... Yeah. Lots of progress there. I had the document open. That's a start. Maybe I can actually get something done with it this semester. Who knows.

I got some new clothes before break ended, and they're actually nice. I mean, they're snazzy and I actually like them. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I can't wait to wear them and feel semi-girly. *takes temperature* Hmm, says I'm fine. Weird.

I also got just what I've been needing in order to make Japanese sentences. It's a book called Japanese: Learn in 4 Simple Steps. It's great cuz it shows how to put the words in order, use particles, verbs, adjectives, the whole shibang. Definitely beats a $200 Rosetta Stone thing any day, and it cost $5. Lol. So if a random Japanese phrase shows up in this, don't worry, I'm just practicing, and if it does happen I'll do my best to give translations. :)

The trip up to school was uneventful. The most eventful thing was waiting for Brian to deliver on a sneeze that he counted down (and ended up coming half an hour later). We then joked about snot rockets and the Fat Boy. It was weird but funny. Found some snow once we got on 13 but it was minimal and didn't last too overly long.

Now to the fun part. Not only do I have Amber in the room by the stairs, I now have Kayla from downstairs in the room next to me. I wish I had known about it, because when I got in I saw her bringing stuff up and she went in the room and I was like "wait, that's been locked..." A couple trips later we exchanged smiles and I asked "new neighbor?" and she said yes. I don't mind necessarily. It's just gonna take some getting used to since the door and stuff is right there and I can hear it open. I can hear her use the light switch too. Like I said, gonna take some getting used to. But, I really hope that she doesn't constantly have her athlete friends over. I know when I was downstairs visiting someone, she often had someone with her, and I know how rambunctious athletes can be... I dunno, we'll see how things go.

The one good thing about being back up here is that the internet is faster, lol. It's nice when not everyone is here, because the net doesn't seize up. Once I woke from my nap, I watched 2 episodes of FMA that I've been trying to watch for a week/week and a half now. It was highly satisfying. :)

I feel like a stooge. I left my nail clippers down home. I hope I can have them sent soon. I'm gonna need them, as I can tell from typing this.

Well, not much else to report on at the moment. I could relay my cavorting in Oshkosh but my nails are really starting to annoy me, so I'll do it later. It's a long tale. Until next time!
