I remember listening to the Police when I was a teenager. Hearing their music still brings back memories. How does a song do that so well? Now the ultimate

Also, realizing that this CD comes 30 years after the debut of The Police, I'm wondering if I heard them right away, when I was 12, or did I discover them a little later? I love these websites with all the information, because I can look these things up. I really don't remember that first single Fall Out, but I certainly do remember Every Breath You Take from 1983, and obviously I remember Don't Stand So Close To Me, and that was first released in 1980. I probably ought to do one of those memes where you take the track list and bold the songs you know and remember, underline the ones you don't, and go buy the CD to listen to all the ones you missed! These are definitely the kinds of CD's I love - all the good songs all together. No switching CD's just to hear the songs you want. This CD also includes a very cool vintage poster. Remember decorating your room with posters of the actors and musicians you liked? Time to do that again - or at least put it up near the stereo.
I think I'm going to go on over The Police on MySpace and add them to my friends list and see if I can pick one of their songs to add to my MySpace page. If only I can choose. In the meantime, enjoy this official :30 TV spot that has been running in the UK.
