Cory and I went to the library yesterday, mainly to return stuff that was due. I also had to pick up The Santa Clause 3, since that came in for me. I love requesting movies from the library. I sort of looked at some books while we were there, but not seriously because I have plenty here that I need to read. I have a hard time going to the library and not checking out at least a book or 3. This time I mostly talked to the library director and stayed away from the shelves.
It wasn't until this morning early, when Jeffrey was getting ready to leave for DePere, that it occurred to me that I should have gotten him a book to listen to. After all, it's like 2-1/2 hours or something to get to DePere. That's 5 hours of listening he could have done. Of course, I can claim that, if he wants to listen to a book, he should go to the library and pick one out for himself, but he's not going to do that. I honestly never thought he'd be all that interested in listening to books, but since I've starting getting him books, he's been enjoying it. I just have to remember to pick some out for him when I go to the library.
So, today when I came back from the store, I stopped into the library and picked up 3 books on CD. I've never read any of them, so I don't know how good they are, but I figured if he has 3 to choose from, he ought to find something he likes. He's going to Baraboo tomorrow, so he'll have some extra drive time for listening.
