Gettin in the holiday spirit

So today was the day of the big Thanksgiving class. It was actually a lot of fun. They were a good class and asked intelligent questions and they even did really well with the song... you never know about things like that with 4th graders. They might love it or they might suddenly think they're too cool to sing silly songs and just stare at you like you're stupid.... so that went well. The teacher told them they should all wish me a Happy Thanksgiving next Thursday and gave this whole speech about how "wouldn't they be sad if they were away from their families in a different country for a big holiday like Christmas and wouldn't they feel better if someone wished them a Happy Christmas?" And I hadn't really felt sad about missing Thanksgiving..until she said that.. Thanks a lot. But I really would be sooo happy if they remember and wish me a Happy Thanksgiving. My mom always greets me first thing in the morning with a very childish sounding "Happy Turkey Day Mando!" and I just realized that I'm going to miss that.

Then, the second half of my day, I tried to register for my classes next semester, but Woo Sik was an ass and hadn't unblocked my Jenzabar so I couldn't. I emailed him about it but he's so stupid he didn't realize what he'd done so he just sent my whole schedule to Del and had Del register me. Oh well, at least I'm good to go now..

And the best part of my day was that I got to spend the last hour at school decorating a Christmas tree!! Yay!! That made me happy.
