Oh my God. How do you have time to read this much? I'm sure you get asked that a lot, but still. Wow. Do you work?

Nope, but when I start boot camp and such I doubt I will have quite as much time. Right now I have no life which is why I can read so much. hehe.

I second myvanityfair That's a LOT of books, though I notice most of them are romance novels :] Those go REALLY fast because they're just so fun to read -- I can find myself reading a couple romance novels a day if I had that many books to read. And the "in Death" books are a series, right?

Yep, Romance is definately my favorite genre. That and stuff with Suspense (mostly Romantic Suspence, hehe) I can read quite quickly.

No offends, but maybe you should give a thought to making books' QUALITY your priority instead of NUMBER...

Hey, so she happens to like the romance genre! If you don't like it, that's your choice. If the original poster does, however, it's her life and her reading time. I might tease my mom when she's reading a book featuring a scantily clad woman in the arms of a masculine pirate or whatever on the cover, but at least she's doing something she likes to do. As we say in my family, to each his/her own. If she finds the romance genre comforting and fun, then it's quality reading for her. I don't see any reason to hold it against her.

Well, all I was saying is, There are lots of books around other than chick-lit; maybe you should give it a try.
Again, no offend intended.

This is what I like, I know you don't mean to offend but I like this type of book and I think the quality is just fine.
In general I don't like alot of stuff without romance but If you have any recommendations then I'm willing to give them a try ingeneral if it's well written enough (unless fantasy, I'm not really big on fantasy) I can read it.

The number is high though because I have alot of time on my hands when I'm not running and working out.

I'm glad that no offend was taken :) None was meant anyway.
As for recommendations, I would probably try some books that do deal with romance, while there is something more to them. You know, the 'Gone by the Wind' kind. My personal favorites this year were so far:
Sue Monk Kid, The Secret Life of Bees
Lisey's Story by Stephen King (you've probably read this one)
Snow Falling on Cedars by David Guterson
Child of my Heart by Alice McDermott.
Maybe you should check these out? But of course tastes differ, no doubt about it.
