I finally have a non-mainstream top 10 2005 movie!
Just finally got around to watching Thumbsucker and it is most definately in my top 5 for the year...possibly vying for the number 1 or 2 spot...
not that the rank matters. It's such a brilliant little emo movie that never really tries to be important and doesnt concern itself with being minimalist. It just kind of...is. It is cheesy at parts, goofy at parts, and, overall, one of the greatest films I've ever seen about growing up.
And it has a really friggin good performance by Keanu Reeves.
Only downside is it kind of says the same thing I have been trying to say with Amateur Theatrics...but it does it so much better than I could ever pretend to.
Anyway, that's all. You guys should see this movie.
