Change of focus?
So, one of the reasons writing a query letter for WANTED is that the main character doesn't show up until chapter 23. This isn't entirely true. There are three other main characters that are there from the beginning. But the MAIN main character takes awhile to show up. And I thought to myself, what would it beike if I rewrote the thing entirely from Jara's perspective.
If I had to trim 50k, this is probably how I would do it. But that's so much work! More than I want to do before the world tells me it doesn't like the current incarnation of the story.
For now? Chapter 3 of SEVENTH SACRIFICE!
