(no subject)
so, i am now back in the real world.
camp was excellent. nothing less than that. it was by far one of the best times of my life. then i had to leave, which sucked, but i came to the dc area with only 10 hours to spare before missing katie and i got to see other people as well. not everyone i would have hoped to see, but the first days after leaving camp are disappointing no matter what happens.
i am now in atlanta. i do not have my geographic bearings, nor do i have my bearings around my house. i do not know where the cups or microwave are. it is distressing. i also met my mother's new friend today. her first words to me, "hey there alexandra. i'm down with jesus." it was quite an introduction to say the least, welcome to georgia.
i have so much to do before i leave for college, will have to make a list. but soon i will be there and that will be great. some people are nervous about college, but really i am just excited as hell.
so i hope everyone had a good summer. anyone should feel free to call and catch up because i am bored as hell down here.
