We made it!!! $3000 here I come!!!
Today, we found out that my students' story (more like my story), made it to the next step. They were one of 120 groups chosen from a pool of over a thousand to go on to the next level of the speech competition.
So for the next month, I'll be designing, preparing and organizing props, costumes and sets instead of teaching during their class. Problem is, I don't have time to do any of the planning on my own time, I'm already burning out. They're breaking my contract by 3 having me three classes over what my contract states, and they're not paying me overtime - from what I know. Anyway, on that topic, I'm waiting till I get paid. If there's no overtime, I'm gonna take it to the boss early the next morning!
They have a lot riding on my story, so they better smarten up! Free advertising!
