Changing Insulins can affect your body. Who knew?

Jan 05, 2008 19:46

This past month has been a roller coaster of issues with my diabetes.

- I was placed on the wrong type of insulin for a sliding scale
- caught a flu bug and was out of work for an entire week.
-  body had a hard time adjusting to insulin scale, off for another week
-  Body reacting to new insulin therapy as well

Went to Dr. today and explained to her some of the stuff I have been experiencing:

- extreme pain in lower back in morning (only relief is to go pee or pass gass)
- lethargy
- lack of hunger
- sleeping pattern has altered

Barrage of testing to be done on Monday..

Apparently,  changing insulins can affect  your entire system.    Who knew? *shrug*
