Excited about college
Although a normal college career doesn't commence for me until next September i am happy to say that i am very excited to get back and get going. I dont know where im going yet but im picking somewhere that places me in an environment i can work with.
Over the last year i have learnt a shitload about myself and how to make the best out of what you have. I can easily say that i did not make the best out of tampa. If i had the mindset that i do now im tampa i could have really done well there. O well, i guess it just took a semester of blowing it there to make me see what i really need to do.
Anyways, i have been busting my ass in my classes at CCCC so i can bring my GPA up to a relatively good standing so i have a wide range of choices to transfer to. I love boston and really want to go to a college there(maybe suffolk), but i am very tempted by my experiences in Virginia with dan. The warm weather plus the large college environment coupled with personalities outside of the northeast makes JMU a viable option.
I think im gonna go into political science for all who care. I realized how much i enjoy politics when i found myself sitting in front of the computer reading the news for hours on end. JMU has a good political science program with a minor in political communication that im interested in checking out. If i should choose boston then suffolks political and legal programs are top notch as well.
Much to choose and anticipate in the coming months, and hopefully some more visits to the colleges i want to go to. Anyways, shower and class.
