My...my cat's gone. She ran off, and I can't find her.

How did your cat run off...? Don't you leave those tied in the backyard?

Oh no...I must have cared for her wrong! She must have been unhappy, and ran off to find a better home...[SOB LADY DAHLIA WOULD HAVE A FIT.]

If she was unhappy with you, then the animal is a fool.

[A pause, and he glances around.] Has anyone offered to help look?
