Klaus's nose squeaks when he slumbers
I worked on my day off today, 8 hours even. That is super lame. On a day off, I should be outside in the cold sunshine, with my camera seeing the sights. For some reason I never really thought of Chicago as a place with sights to see. Chicago is not my first choice on places to reside, and when I first came here i didn't even like the city. I'm warming up to it, in a cold kind of way. But I desperately miss California and the 70 degree weather and the cool breeze from the ocean. I miss the hills and the greenness of it all. I know I'll get there eventually, but i seriously think about it all day long, especially when the weather hates me and gets icy and -500 degrees so my eyeballs freeze in their sockets. This city will get better...it must. Winter is so depressing, it makes me never want to leave my apartment, or do anything of importance besides reading a book or fiddling around on the computer.
Bah I shouldn't complain...I've got great friends here, my boy who loves me and a kitty who nuzzles me when i have a bad day.
