Alright, so it took me a long time to start writing in this again. And this wasn't gonna be an actual entry until I started typing it and remembered what I wanted to write about. I had thought about something last night, then I was going to write about the fact that I couldn't remember it, and then I did remember it, so here goes.
When I go to sleep, my mind tends to wander. And, obviously, more often than not, I end up thinking about topics that have no definitive answer and that I really don't like thinking about, since they aren't very conducive to sleep. For instance, I start thinking about whether God exists, and how, without some greater being, our lives really have no meaning, and that after we die, there's nothing and we simply cease to exist, only to be forgotten by the World unless we do something extraordinary. Y'know, stuff like that. It gets depressing. And, quite frankly, scary. So, to get to my point, instead of thinking about these things, I tend to find a topic that is unrelated to anything like that (Usually it's sports), think of one statement and repeat it over and over in my head (Like, "I'm glad the Patriots won" or whatever. Certainly nothing mind-blowing). Not only does it keep me from thinking about things like how we're all gonna die and it'll all be Bush's fault (But who knows, I've been wrong before), the monotony of one statement over and over tends to put me to sleep faster. So, my question is, do you (All one of you, assuming you're still here) do anything like this? Do you just let your mind wander before you go to bed? Just curious.
Also, back to more tangible things, I had a programming midterm today which went well (I hope). Busy week, glad it's short.
I still don't have a clever signoff phrase. This annoys me.
