Next Vacation Countdown Begins: T-Minus 15 Days

Nov 29, 2004 00:51

So, I'm back after a good weekend of hanging out with family and friends and not worrying about school (you're right Junger, prior planning prevents piss-poor performance). And now, it's time to worry about school again. One week of classes, then a week of finals, and I'm done until January. So it's time to crack down (heh...for probably the first time this semester) and study. I'm pretty glad that I accidentally left my Warcraft CD at home: less distractions.

Graphics is really making me consider transferring seriously. If the majority of my engineering classes are like that one, I really don't want to be here. Limited help from the prof (who isn't very good to begin with) and bad TAs (that don't show up to a tutorial). Plus, Georgia Tech was kinda my first choice in the first place. And, quite honestly, I haven't really made many friends who I'd truly miss if I left. But, I also don't wanna pass judgement on the entire department based on one class (unfortunately, it may come down to that, since I'm not taking any other engineering classes until next year). So...who knows. I suppose I'll decide soon enough.

Fifteen days of hard work (What the hell is that? I can't remember), then a three week vacation. If only all of life could work out that awesomely. I suppose I have to enjoy it while I can. Now that I'm on the other side of Thanksgiving, I can actually appreciate the gorgeous lights of downtown Montreal. Christmas is now on the way.

May all roads lead you home, wherever it may be.

Jeff
