Been that long, huh?
It's been awhile Livejournal.
I've just been getting everything ready to leave for Basic really.
Pulled all of my money out of the market, just in case it decides to take a plunge while I'm gone.
We've been playing alot of basketball recently. It keeps me focused and takes my mind off of everything else. I'm actually quite decent now. I'm not saying I could school you or anything, but I make some clutch shots during pick-up games.
I'm not taking any classes, since I would have to leave in the middle of the semester. I just have alot of time to read and work now.
Work is going alright. I work Monday-Thursday nights, which happens to be the same time the Rattlers cheerleaders come practice and work out. A couple of them are cool but the large majority are spoiled and don't really have anything going for them besides looks. Oh and some of the Cardinals players have been coming in too. Those are some cool cats. One of them showed me his $125,000 Mercedes. I kid you not, it even smelled like a hundred grand. If I ever own a car worth half that I'll be happy as hell. lmao
Once I finish up at ASU and become a commissioned officer, I was thinking about moving to Chicago. Of course, that's only if the University of Chicago accepts me, and if there are no wars going on. A Master's in Economics from University of Chicago is priceless, and paid for by Uncle Sam of course. Then combined with my Security Clearance I'm a shoo-in for the CIA, NSA or any other global Intelligence agency. Hell, if I felt greedy I could even work in the private sector.
As an Intelligence Analyst the Army will pay for me to learn as many languages as I want. I could potentially work anywhere in the world.
I can't wait. I want to go now. I'm sick of waiting.
