 Here's what's been up lately:

I'm enlisting and doing the Army's SMP (Simultaneous Membership Program). What it basically means is that I'll go to Basic Training, Advanced Individual Training, and then come back home to do ROTC and become an officer. The Army pays for all of my school and gives me about $2500/month to live on. Not bad, right? Well on top of that since I'll be a cadet 2nd Lieutenant studying under a senior officer I'll be paid as a Sergeant instead of a Private.

I scored a 97/99 on the ASVAB so I qualified for Military Intelligence. On top of that they wrote me an Enlistment Bonus check for $20,000. But in order to get into Intelligence I need to get a Top Secret clearance from the government, so don't be surprised if some CIA agents come knocking on your door and asking alot of questions about me.

I ship out to Fort Jackson for Basic on February 19, 2008.
