J-Rock, JE & Me

Oct 24, 2007 14:13

Lately I don't have much time too update my blogs (both LJ and my Thai blog). Actually I should say that I don't hve much time too surf the net which is a bit sad. Last week I went on seminar for 2 days so I had only 3 days left to clear all my routine paper works. Tomorrow I have a business trip to Kon Khaen in the North Eastern part of Thailand for 2 days. Luckily this time I have cleared most of my work load so there is nothing to worry about. Hope the wheather will be fine in the morning.

Last Sunday I went to The 5th Bangkok International Book Fair 2007 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center with couple of friends. I got about 10 books back home, mostly novels. Two of them were 'Kitchen' (by Yoshimoto Banana) and new translated work of Eikuni Kaori. I love their works, especially Eikuni's 'kirakira' is my most favorite!

Oh, apart form reading Japanese novels, I just know that I have a strange habit that I love wrapping books so much *LOL*  I just notice this when I joined a Japanese class last Saturday and saw my exercise books different form other's because they were all wrapped in Disney's wrapping paper. One was with Marie-chan cover, another with Chip'n'Dale, and a note book cover wrapped with a page from fashion magazine. I think these can help me concentrate on the subject more. *lol*

I also made myself a Toma-covered note book and some Kanjani8, L'arc~en~ciel and other bands bookmarks as well ^ ^''   If you see my desktop maybe you will get cracked up because the combination are incompatible; NewS desktop wallpaper with small photo of Hide, Toshi and Ryuichi (LS) in the background. Well, I can't help it..

This is really can't be helped.. a drawer full of J-Rock mix with JE and some local rock CDs.

My VDO collection : mainly  X-japan, Hide, Luna Sea and some L'arc

Umm.. framkly I'm quite surprise myself that I have collected J-rock goods more than I imagined. Although I have Ryo's big size poster hangin on the wall, I still found my cupboard filled with Hide's goods!

  <---- ME CRAZY!!??

I miss Hide-san actually. I miss his fabulous work, his crazy lyrics and those stunning performances. I don't know that if he was alive I would turned myself  to JE or not (since before I knew Ryo I listened only to J-Rock music). Chibi Ryo and Hide had something in common. Maybe, It was Ryo's round face and his little yankee smiles that similar to Hide? Or the feeling when they performed were the same (they both were very confident on stage)?  I really don't know.

It's funny that first time I heard that Toma and Subaru used to discuss about Hide for an hour, I feel a bit jealous of them. I just kept repeating, 'I wanna discuss that topic with you two too!'  ...Stupid me!  *lol*
Toma and Subaru are my  fav, so I'm totally happy that they're both into X-japan ne.

Ahh.. I wanna put some more of Hide pix. I'd better leave it for next time.

hide, x-japan, subaru, ryo, toma
