Italy makes me happy sometimes.
So, today was absolutely incredible. For our field trip we went to Bevagna and Torgiano. Bevagna is like a giant Medieval Fair. Except for it's not a reinactment place. We went to a medieval paper mill and got to make papers and went to a candle maker place and all sorts of medievaly places. it was amazing. i will actually post pictures of this soon for people to see.
the second town we went to, torgiano is heavy in the wine country. so we went to the wine museum and afterwarsds to a tasting. really exciting. i bought several bottles of wine. becuase they were only 5euros each. but, one of the techers aid that usually, they peak about five years after and go up to about 60euros in value because they are that good. i have a 2003 vintage, so whoever i am still friends wiht in 2008, we can drink the wine. i found out at the tasting today that italian wine is generally 18-20 proof. no wonder i only need a glass.
okay, i finally have a critiique on tuesday... first time something has been due since i got here... so i am off to make books.
