Don't have time for a long post, but this will do for now.
Soooooo, this weekend lots of random things. After returning from a day in Perugia, we arrive in COrtona to discover that there is a fashion show going on in the middle of the piazza. Still am not sure who it was, but there were lots of disco magic and bond girl outfits. Ridiculous. Not neccesarily in a good way.
Next day... the cell where St Francis spent his formative years is located about a forty minute walk outside of Cortona, so we went to go see where holiness happens and got to giggle with Franciscan monks. THAT was exciting.
Yesterday evening there was a violin concert in this hole in the wall church... there are about 30 of these i Cortona (for a city with a 3,000 pop., thats a lot) but anyways, yes music in churches. Apparently this church was built soley for housing this 2,000 year old organ, which was also in the concert... so the acoustics in there were incredible.
Sadly, but necessarily, I must go run now. Is neccessary's double c or double s? Up the mountain for me... off to bed for yous.
