That was close
Tonight I shot at McCaw Hall for the RedBull Music Academy event. I got there a little late due to the guy I was with that was supposed to introduce me to some bigwigs got held up (no not the gunpoint kind, just we got stuck).
SO the show starts, I am shooting and hitting some great stuff and really enjoying the show. I get myself backstage and start shooting the onstage stuff, one of the gack boys is leading me around pointing out some angles to me and now I am really on fire.
And then intermission comes...
Turns out that members of the Underground Resistance were there and performing onstage unmasked and had an agreement to not be filmed with the event coordinators. I did not know about that. So here I am having a great shoot and hitting stuff dead on and all the while I am digging myself into deeper and deeper legal issues. The staff accosts me on stage as I am talking to people and is freaking out due to me not having my creditials pass.
Time for me to leave. I gave them my card, told them I would post them a private gallery and let them delete the ones that were offensive to the artists. They agreed and before they had a chance to change their mind I was long gone. I got to keep the pictures, so even if they only let me post one publically I still have them on my HDD to enjoy.
