Okay, since I didn't see you on the HMD and... forgot until just now--

FIRST OFF, I REALLY ENJOY INTERACTING WITH YOU, and you do a fantastic job playing up the intense douchebaggery that defines early-game Luke. His entries and threads are really entertaining and I always look forward to them (totally went back and read all the ones from before I got here, too~).

But I feel like you kind of put all your focus on that one aspect of him just because it's the most prominent and the most entertaining, and that you kind of skip over his subtleties. I mean, he acts like a total dick early on, but it's almost all because he doesn't know any better, and even then, he shows traces of the good person Ion sees him for.

You could have him show a little more of that innocent social awkwardness he occasionally displays -- the way he sometimes blushes and stumbles over his words a little when Ion compliments him or treats him kindly. And I think you could probably do a little more with his moral issues too -- maybe Akzeriuth hasn't happened yet (although I think he'd dwell on that issue a little more now that Ion and Natalia have brought it to his attention, even if he doesn't believe it), but he's still killed people, and though he's mostly accepted that it's necessary, he really isn't okay with it. I think he could have faced that a little more than I saw you do during the prison event, especially; yes, he'd complain about being held captive, but I think his doubts about his own innocence would have been a little more pronounced. I know his initial reaction to Akzeriuth can be read as an inability to accept responsibility and used as an argument against that, but I don't think that's the right way of looking at it.

I know Poly's not that serious of a game, and I like how much less angst there is than in other places, but I still think characters here should be played as thoroughly as possible, and I just worry a little that Luke's being shortchanged sometimes.

S-SO YEAH. Just potential things to consider working on? 8( ♥
