December recap
So, things are going really well. December was great- made a new friend, Adam, who I really like. We've talked almost every day since we met, and he even invited me to a New Years' party, which was a blast. (had a little bit of "moral lapse", which Ror got angry at me for, but nothing bad happened.) Got five bazillion books for Christmas, along with some good music, two puzzles (one of which Ror/me/Maggie already finished >.>) and lots of candles. Maggie gave me the Watchmen Ultimate Cut, which I squeed over and will definitely watch the heck out of in short order.
I've been pretty busy getting a Rorschach outfit put together- Maggie and I are planning on matching at Otakon. I got gloves and a scarf this week, and Ror's pretty happy with it- just need a hat/coat/mask and it'll be perfect. He wore it to therapy tonight.. which I found a little funny. He didn't come out (didn't expect him to- originally didn't even want me to tell her about him), but watched. I'm hoping to start the process of changing my name once I get back from Spain, and hopefully I'll get to talk to the endocrinologist soon. I'm very excited.
Spain's in a week. Can't wait. (Almost can't believe it's been a year since I've been there. Hardly a day goes by that I don't think about it.) I'm going to try and act more self-confident while I'm there. Need to work on that.
Overall, I'm feeling really great, and it feels amazing to be able to say that. Yeah, there's ups and downs, and I do feel a little overwhelmed at the moment with all the work I'm trying to do, but I feel... capable. Which I like.
