I am SO SICK of getting spam comments on my journal. Does anyone know how to prevent that from happening? I'd rather not go friends-only if I don't have to, because I might want to start getting more active again, but damn, this is *annoying.*

I get that too, uh. I think in your settings you can at least ban anonymous people from commenting, and show a CAPTCHA to non-friends?
