Basic Melty Chocolate Replica comparison MintxBrown
So I finally got to it, I know the whole "omgwtf melty chocolate replica?" thing is over but
I figured it would still be interesting to know what the differences are and so on c:
I am comparing the original OP to the replica Skirt.
This is my first time at doing anything like this so I'll try my best to make it simple !
(sorry about the lighting I live in a house with all yellow walls.... I did my best x3)

Colour: one of the first things I noticed is that the colours are quite different.
The original is somewhat Antique looking whereas the Replica is bright and Bold.

Print: The chocolate print is quite good for a replica but the print itself on the replica is quite basic and fairly off.
It is also quite large on the Replica.
The replica also has a ribbon whereas the original is drawn into the print.
But it does use a metalic gold like the original does c:
Lace: the lace in my opinion isnt bad quality but was done poorly (could have been sewn on so much better)
But for the price I paid I have no complaints really.
The lace on the replica would be perfectly fine if it were a bit shorter and perhaps slightly gatherd? (I'm not sure of the right word)
Its all just to straight >:s but easy fix I guess.
Detachable bow: The detachable bow looks fine but compared to the original theres just no thickness to it.
All looks no substance.
Extras: the golden lace they use for the bow is more of a yellow on the replica and isnt as soft.
Feel/Quality: overall I like the quality of the replica is good and for the price you pay I'd say if you'd really love to own this print, go for it c:
The replica is slightly thicker then the original in a way, but the original feels softer and more natural.
I don't like how bright the replica is however, it makes it seem more costumy and doesnt quite blend together.
