I hate this time of year. no kidding. they come on the tv and radio with their fucking smarmy commercials..... 'make her feel loved'.....'make her your valentine'..... fucking Madison Avenue. I'm really tired of it....fucking hearts plastered over every drugstore, every candy store, every little shop that can sell anything even remotely

Here's a thought: Why not actually make her your valentine, and then you'll have nothing to complain about!

Or at least ask her to Snowball...the longer you wait the worse it'll be. Oh and you know the old saying you snooze you lose...not to sound mean. Only you don't want to miss out or you'll be more upset than you already are. I say go for it, what's the worst that can happen?

Valentines day is just another commercial day that makes a profit. It does make a lot of people feel horrible. Everyone has their own way of dealing. One of my friend's families dresses up as victims of great plagues and diseases and walks around that way for the day. Others get angry and that day there is no talking to them. but it's not as horrible a day as it may seem. Make it mean something to you. If you like someone, surprise them, even if you don't tell them who you are. Remember, you're not the only who is unhappy on valentines day and you can make it better for someone eles and through that, yourself.
