Looking for a jumping off point for S/J
I am still kind of new to the Sherlock Fan Fic world. I am looking some good fics to start off with. I have 2 requests.
(Request 1) I am looking for FICS that focus on the early building of Sherlock and John's relationship.
I love the trust we see between the two and I would love FICs, where I can watch it being built, earned, and tested.
A) Cannon compliaent-ish universes, though slight AUs are welcome.
B) A how do they meet first scene or early interactions. (a few rocky ones or misunderstandings would be great)
C) Eventually slash would be lovely, but the friendship/pre-slash building is the important part
D) Sherlock as narrator for at least part of the story
E) Sherlock and John both start out a bit clueless ---the story should ideally be about them naturally coming together in all possible ways. Sherlock and John should bought have character arcs of some kind.
F) Smart, useful John and not prefect Sherlock.
G)The longer the fic, the better. slow burns own my soul.
Please no Asexual Sherlock, and no Marry is preferred, but if there is Mary, no Mary! Bashing

(Request 2) General Recommendations. What are considered the hallmarks of this fandom. What are your top 3 fics? [ I have no particular triggers and all ratings are ok. On screen sex is welcome and enjoyed, that being said if it makes sense and is in character. It has to hold emotional weight, otherwise, it can detract from story.]
